What life’s like??? I asked myself,
Thinking about it looking at the close by shelf,
Is it the wide open sky, or an empty cage?
Sometimes you approach it with a fit of rage,
And at times like a sage,
Fighting till the end to earn your daily wage,
Is this all to this book with so many a page???
There are times when you act like a dove,
Strange things, odd events and people you love.
At times when the right one comes along,
Near you, you’d never allow.
Head or heart whom to follow???
